The aim of this report is to present to the public the activities of the Panasonic Electric Works Group in the field of corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Panasonic Electric Works has worked to disclose relevant information since 1999, when we first began publishing our Environmental Report. This document was renamed the Sustainability Report in 2003, when sections on the social and economic spheres were added. From 2006, the title of the publication was changed to CSR Report, and it now covers the whole range of our corporate social responsibility activities.

To make this year's report easier to understand and more accessible, we concentrate on reporting issues and topics considered especially significant from the point of view of corporate social responsibility.

Note on English-language version of report: The original version of the report is in Japanese. In the case of any discrepancy between the two versions, the content of the Japanese version takes precedence.
