Showcases
The event was the first Corporate Global Environment Exhibition we held after our company name change in October. Accordingly, we published our basic policies for global environmental conservation.

Our business activities are expanding overseas and are not limited to Japan. We exhibited global warming prevention, waste reduction and other initiatives we are implementing to reduce the environmental impact of our activities on a global basis.

We presented eco-friendly products that emit less CO2 together with Green Product-related initiatives under the themes of lighting products, information equipment, building products and home appliances, and devices and materials.

We showcased corporate citizenship activities, efforts for increasing employees’ awareness, and environmental communications we are promoting inside and outside of our company.
We held the following seminars.
- Special lecture: "Simultaneous pursuit of global warming prevention and economic development"
(Project Professor Mitsutsune Yamaguchi, Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology of the University of Tokyo)
- Prospects for the amendment of the Energy Conservation Law
(Mr. Haruhiro Misumi, The Energy Conservation Center,Japan)
- Panasonic Electric Works’ environmental initiatives
- Proposals of energy conservation through eco-friendly lighting fixtures
- Network systems to support energy conservation in buildings and offices
We displayed environmental photos taken by our employees. Visitors screened the photos at the venue.
