Business scope

The Circuit Board Materials Division Division has produced and marketed gprinted circuit board materialsh for electronic equipment. This division had marketed paper phenol copper-clad laminations to enter the market at the same time printed circuit boards were developed in our country, in the early stage of the latter half of the 1950fs, and has since established an industry leading position by developing glass epoxy copper-clad laminations and multi-layer printed Circuit board material gMultih to meet the needs for the functional sophistication and diversification of equipment.

At present, our printed circuit board materials are widely used in a variety of fields, including network equipment such as cellular phones, servers and routers, digital equipment such as Automotive Components, digital cameras, DVD and flat-screen televisions, and amusement apparatus, like game machines.

To contribute to the evolution of the electronics industry, we have established a management organization to globally ensure product quality by obtaining the ISO 9001 certificate and also for environmental protection by obtaining the ISO 14001 certificate, and promoted global business development in Taiwan, China, Thailand and Europe.

Multi - layer printed Circuit@boards refer to three-dimensional circuits; built by stacking three or more layers boards and creating through-holes to electrically connect the stacked printed Circuit boards.
This material accounts for about 70% of the domestic sales of this division, covering such fields as computers, various kinds of OA equipment, cellular phones, digital cameras, digital video cameras, network equipment, Automotive components and game machines.
We have continued to develop and market a wide variety of products; acquiring a favorable reputation as Panasonicfs Multi-layer PCB Materials through the use of proven Multi-layer technologies by the early establishment of R&D organization, ready for the advent of the Multi-layer age.

High-frequency Printed Circut Boards Materials

The advent of the IT age has accelerated the transition to GHz bands in wireless communication.
Because satellite or mobile communication assumes a frequency band from 1GHz to 30GHz, a small dielectric loss (low dielectric tangent) is inevitable.
In contrast, high-frequency circuits require stable permittivity that does not vary with environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity.

and composite laminates combining glasscloth and non-woven@glass fabric (CEM-3).
Our glass epoxy Copper Clad Laminates have been best selling products for OA equipment, measuring instruments and
automobiles since market entry, and our New CEM-3 has also been widely used in DVD drives, amusement machines,
consumer electronics called white goods, and automobile meters, etc.

Eco-friendly Printed Circuit Board Materials

Photo Recently, the importance of environmental conservation has been globally recognized and customers are
demanding eco-friendlier compounds for their electronic equipment and Printed Circuit Boards.
With this in mind, we have stopped using halogen and antimony that may produce harmful substances and have instead developed halogen-free Printed Circuit Board materials,gGX Seriesh equivalent to conventional compounds in terms of flame resistance.
Furthermore, we have expanded its applications to Multi-layer, and double- and single-sided Printed Circuit Boards to meet various customer needs .

In particular, we have established four production sites in Japan, Taiwan, China and Europe to manufacture halogen-free glass epoxy Multi-layer PCB materials to meet the needs of a wide range of global applications.
